This session will examine how Amarillo College (AC) leverages technology (Blackboard Outcomes Assessment application) as an assessment method for continuous improvement. Not only has this application saved countless hours in the conversion from hard-copy artifact assessment to assessing on a digital platform, AC also has a secondary benefit of demonstrating compliance with SACSCOC Standards 8.2.a and 8.2.b. AC’s assessment tool and process builds institutional capacity for assessment. Having this assessment tool housed in the same application as AC’s LMS that faculty and students use daily for course content and grading is beneficial.
