This behind-the-scenes look into the University of Michigan Department of Pathology shows how tissue is prepared to be viewed under a microscope and what pathologists are looking for in order to determine a diagnosis.

World Health Worker Week Video Message from Dr Tedros, WHO's Director-General

We must learn from #COVID19 to protect & support our heath workers, listen to them & amplify their voices.

2021 has been designated as the International Year of Health and Care Workers (YHCW) in appreciation of their tireless efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. WHO has launched a year-long campaign, under the theme – Protect. Invest. Together. It highlights the urgent need to invest in health workers for shared dividends in health, jobs, economic opportunity and equity.
